On Your Mark, Get Set, Read

The Ruby Pickens Tartt Public Library presents: On Your Mark, Get Set, Read 2016 Summer Reading Program. Register your child between May 24th - 27th for the June 1st kickoff. Activities include a visit from Lew E the clown, the McWane Science Center, do Yoga with Debbie, see a magic show with Russell Davis, craft a T-shirt bag, a game day, exercise with Leah,  and end with SRP Mini Olympics. Future Health Workers Camp

The West Central Alabama AHEC, in partnership with the University of West Alabama, will host a residential summer camp for 50 students, grades 9-12, who are interested in healthcare as a profession. Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Our Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser is the last Friday in September from 7:30 - 9:30 at Young Hall Cafeteria on the UWA Campus.  The menu includes Orange Juice, water, or coffee; 2 pancakes, eggs, bacon, butter, and syrup.  Please see a Chamber Board member to purchase a ticket.  Please come out and support your local Chamber of Commerce.
